The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was not ready at check-in . The room was fairly clean however one of the beds had dirty linens. We choose this property for the hot tub and breakfast. The hot tub was not working and there were barely any breakfast items!

Two positives: We liked the location and the room was clean. Concerns:The motel was understaffed. When we pulled up several people were smoking near the signs that said no smoking. Also during our stay. several dogs were running unleashed in the building. Front desk staff should monitor these things, but we only saw one staff person during our stay. He was careless in writing out the wrong internet password and thought nothing of it. The building is in decline. We had missing light bulbs and no ice bucket. There was evidence at the breakfast that things were sloppy: no lids for coffee cups, no juice in the dispenser, etc. A dog running freely in there.

Staff are great. The bed sheets were old and worn with pilling and holes. They ran out of breakfast food blaming a work crew who were staying there. There is dog poop ALL around the building. While this falls on pet owners not cleaning up after their pets, the hotel should enforce this and hire someone to clean it up.

While my room was clean, it did not look freshly made up when we entered. The beds were old and sagging in the middle. I believe they told me they were in the midst of renovations. My room did not have a fridge or microwave in it. However, other rooms did. In the pool area, only one ballast of lights worked, so it was pretty dark in there at night. The pool was clean, though, as was the hot tub. The staff was accommodating and friendly. Breakfast consisted of ready-made scrambled eggs (watery), and sausage links. You also had a choice of biscuits and gravy, cereal, or waffles. The coffee at the front entrance was good. The juices from the breakfast area were mostly just water. The prices were cheap, so it's really hard to complain when you get what you paid for. It is not likely that I'll stay again, though.
