Parking was great since it was directly in front of the room. I had originally booked a room that was bigger but this one worked out fine. The price was good, staff was very nice and room was clean. It was nice have a Pancake House to walk to next door. There was a coffee room with water and ice but nothing else and it didn't open till 7am. We get up sooner than that but we made due. Overall very nice place to stay.

Staying the night was not bad. It definitely was showing it's age. With the walls being very thick, it was quiet in the room, which was nice. The heat was provided by a portable heater on the counter. The clerk was very friendly and helpful.

The property is fine for this level of hotel.. much of it was clean and well cared for and it did have a nice feel to it. I think with a modest investment they could improve dramatically. For instance, the first three lights I turned on when I entered my room did not work. Secondly, there was a space heater in the room but the room got down to about 45° that night because it was 34° outside in the morning... I'm sure there was a way to turn on the heater but this was not discussed by the attendant. Lastly, the bed comforter needed to be replaced and had a cigarette burn hole in it. It looks to be 20 or 30 years old... A completely different style. But the place is not without its graces and it was a good price. I just think they need to improve their maintenance and refresh the comforter and make sure that they provide working lights and great instructions for managing the window, air conditioning and heating. Some people like me don't like to run heaters at night so an extra blanket or two would be nice and very inexpensive to provide.
