What a lovely place! The property is gorgeous, rooms were clean. My toddler had the time of her life at the river pool and collecting shells at the beach. The fitness center was nice. Staff were exceptionally helpful! The only thing I didn't love were the food options - fine for a night but next time we will bring food or explore Williamsburg for better veggies, proteins and healthy options. Overall we had so much fun we booked our next stay before we left!

Breakfast buffet was great. Meal options at the various restaurants on property were nice as well. James Grille was not taking anymore guests 1.5 hours before closing one evening, and we were turned away, which was disappointing. Rooms are clean Staff were pleasant and helpful at all times. Location is close to major attractions. Overall excellent property.

I am obsessed with the layout of the 1 bedroom king condo suite and how affordable it was for what we got! It was super clean and beautiful, intuitively designed for privacy with beautiful views. The resort property is beautiful and welcoming, we had a blast bicycling around and exploring. Only thing we needed was maybe 5 days there instead of 2.5

Outdated, child-ridden, dirty! The stairway to our room was full of bugs and looked like it had never been cleaned. There was a huge spider on its web and other dead bugs all over the corners, rafters, and stairs and we barely made it up the stairway. We were not informed of the ability to rent a golf cart at check-in and when we called the next morning to see about renting one (after seeing everyone else on them throughout the resort) there weren't any left. We were given paper maps and a resort guide. It's the year 2026, so these should have been available online. The River Pool staff service was great and so were the food and drinks, but the rowdy children made it hard to enjoy. Parents just sat there while they splashed people in the face and threw footballs, narrowly missing tables and other people lounging. The children were old enough to know better if they had any manners; the lack of parenting was unacceptable.
