Room was great! They upgraded us to a suite. There were only handful of staff that were pleasant and seemed like they liked their job. Food at the reservation only restaurants for most part weren’t worth it. Buffet was good, many choices. Bars were slow to get served, kept running out of beer, two beer choices.

Rooms very well kept. Food at buffet was very good but ran out of items frequently. Had to wait to long for omelets or fried eggs. All restaurants are understaffed so getting items quickly is not possible. Fish restaurant was outstanding. Some restaurant staff were not friendly or happy to be at the resort- many were. Communication was poor for activities outside of the resort. “Ocean view” blocked everyday by cruise ship.

The private beach was great, spent most of our time there. The buffet was really good as well (though during our stay, it appeared the coffee machines kept breaking down so there were always long lines for that.) the grounds were well kept and modern. The room was comfortable and clean! The minibar snacks are nonexistent. Staff are not upbeat and don't greet you until you greet them. The app for room service and requests did not work. I even contacted the front desk about requests, no answer but the operator did help with 1 of 3 issues. Overall, wish I'd chosen the sister property that has more amenities.

Great hotel with lots of potential and room for improvement. Food was great together with top shelf alcohol. One thing this hotel was lacking is staff members. Each bar had one bartender randomly two which extended wait times for drinks. Same thing was with restaurants. Long wait times. We spoke to couple from Canada that were at the same resort 3 years ago and service was much better. Another service that this hotel lacked was no service at the beach.
