We had a great week at the Dolphin in Curacao. Great space for my husband, 9yo son, and me. Good location and the unit was great for our family. We did not use the pool, since we preferred to beach hop. The Reef Cafe was great for breakfast. Staff very helpful. Onsite parking and easy drive to Willemstad. Would recommend to friends. But if you want more of a resort experience- this isn’t the place for you. My parents stayed at the Marriott Curacao Beach Resort the same week had a great experience and enjoyed the amenities and activities greatly. Depends on what you’re looking for! No complaints at all from us at the Dolphin. We loved it and found it perfect for our style of travel.

Excellent location 1 short block from the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was a bit lacking some days, but simply ask for what you need from the front desk and they quickly supply it for you. We had a kitchenette, which greatly helped to keep meal costs down. The pool can get rather lively with children, so keep that in mind if noise is a concern for you. All said, I would stay here again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful especially Chantal who assisted us in staying extra days after our flight was canceled. Rooms are large and clean, the pool is warm and the spa is nice. It’s a 3 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Very good location.

We highly recommend staying at the Dolphin Suites. We stayed in a deluxe preferred view room. It was modern, clean and comfortable. The balcony provided a lovely sitting area that overlooked the pool, gardens and a partial ocean view. It was a very relaxing space. One thing to be wary of is that there is construction happening at the property behind the hotel. The noise made it difficult to enjoy the balcony in the mornings as the most noise was between 7-9 am

We stayed in a family suite which was very nice and spacious. The kids had their own bedroom. The room was clean upon arrival but housekeeping only came once during our 4 night stay. I needed to request coffee and clean towels a couple times. It was nice to have a kitchen however there is no cooking essentials such as oil or salt and pepper. The location was good however we had to access the beach through another resort for an accessible path. The pool was out of service while there as well. We stayed here for accessibility and the use of the beach wheelchair they advertised. Come to find out to use the beach wheelchair is $16- no matter how long you want it, even just an hour. We got a day pass at Avila and they offered their beach wheelchair free of charge. Honestly, I would have preferred to stay at Alvia or Loins Dive.

Facility is decent and love their commitment to accessibility and sustainability. Location is good, close to the busy Mambo Beach but not right next and the sea aquarium is a few minutes walk. Parking is ok if you rent a small car. Staff at front desk 7am - 7 pm were excellent, friendly and customer focused, but staff at "front desk" after 7 pm were not customer friendly at all and mostly paid only attention to their phones. The room we first got was facing a construction site with horrible noise often starting as early as 6:30 am. After requesting they moved us into a different room but i had to pay some 'upgrade' fees. Rooms are modern but with every other day cleaning we often ran out of clean towels so i had to request extras all the time. Cleanliness of room needs improvement. Kitchen towel smelled bad, glasses were not sanitized and were placed on the bare kitchen counter upside down to dry after room cleaning, when there was a dishwasher in the room. Shower curtain had an odd wet towel smell, coffee pods were not replenished consistently so i had to request more at least three time. Soundproofing is not good. No bathroom supplies in this hotel, but i did not mind that in light of their sustainability commitment. The house cafe has amazing breakfast and lunch options and staff in the cafe are great. Friendly and customer oriented. There is a small store in the same building where you can grab some extra sunscreen or other items. They have delicious empanadas there.

The room was amazing! Very spacious. This is our second time at this resort, and second time was definitely much better experience. It is conveniently located walking distance from the beach, also few mins from the Aquarium. Convenience store on premises for basic necessities/snacks. Breakfast at the Reefs Cafe was always delicious, and staff were nice and friendly, but very long wait time. Nemo restaurant at the nearby resort was also great for dinner. If you ever need to call a taxi, be prepared to wait a while, so plan ahead. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
