overall the stay was good. It was an excellent location with proximity to the beach. The only downside side is the room was pretty dark with the type of lighting they have. Nonetheless, my children thoroughly enjoyed the pool and stay.

The room was clean and the housekeeping staff was very friendly. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for breakfast, would have liked a dishwasher😂 but not a deal breaker! Front staff was fantastic and didn’t just hand us a brochure on where everything was but actually showed us where everything was located, it was a very nice touch. Made us feel welcomed and definitely worth the price. Can’t wait to go back again.

We are a family of 5, with kids ranging from 11, 6, and 2 and the property amenities are great and our room was ideal for our family. The little kitchenette and refrigerator size was ideal for our family. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Kids really enjoyed the pool! Pool was perfect, not overcrowded and other guests were also very nice!

We just wrapped up our second year staying at the Ala Moana and had another amazing trip! We brought my mother-in-law along this time, and she loved it just as much as we do. The location is unbeatable—close enough to the boardwalk for fun, but still quiet and relaxing. It’s perfectly situated for a morning walk to Barry’s Buns or a trip down to the Crest. (Highly recommend Green's Bike Rentals nearby; the staff is incredibly welcoming!) Back at the motel, the centrally located pool is a fantastic spot for both kids and adults to unwind. We’re already looking forward to next year and will be calling soon to hopefully reserve the beach house for the whole family!

I loved the property, people, staff, and the rooms were very nice. Really impressed with the accommodations. Just wished they had a dedicated smoking area there were too many people smoking. Honestly dont really care about smoking, but this was too much.

This place was very nice! I would definitely visit again. Pros are it's very clean, and very nice staff. Cons are there are a lot of children that use the pool so be prepared. Also standard checkout is early imo at 10am. Staff let us stay later but be aware. Also parking is close to columns, so it is kind of annoying. We had someone with a big van park closely next to our truck, and I had to help my friend move his truck just to load our things to checkout. Besides this, the proximity to the beach, the cleanliness and nice staff make this a solid stay!

Our room exceeded expectations. It was clearly redone and updated recently, from flooring to furniture to fixtures. Everything was nicely designed, good quality, and immaculate. The pool and property were also very well maintained. The elevator was out of door one evening when we got back around 10 pm and was operating again by 9 am the next morning. Seems to be plenty of parking, most of which is covered. Great location. Highly recommend Ala Moanna.
