This is a very old hotel. Parking is several blocks away and we chose not to have breakfast on site. Great bakery just around the corner.

The hotel is near to the centre of town. The Christmas market was inside the shopping area, so very close. For fans of staying at historic hotels, this one has plenty of that. For fans of rising to a legendary vast German buffet breakfast, this is your place. Bathroom is spacious, rooms are spacious. Car parking required a bit of walking, but off loading and reloading luggage was possible in front of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is very conveniently located, rooms are spacious and very quiet.Though the hotel has been modernized over the years it still keeps it charme. Breakfast is fantastic. The sitting area outside for breakfast is cost but the furniture very uncomfortable. Tables much to low for tall people.

Not the best check-in or room experience

Upon arrival rm wasn't ready, fine because we got to the hotel early due to our flight. The lady at the desk said we could check-in by 2 or so. We left the hotel to walk around until that time. We came back to the hotel at 2:30 & was told that housekeeping was preparing our room & it should be ready shortly. Again, no worries we sat in the lobby to rest. At about 3p.m. we are still sitting their with no room NO ONE has come over to check on us or to even give us an update on the status of our room. At about 315 I got in line at the desk behind others that were also trying to check-in. I waited in line for about 20min or LONGER before being informed by one of many frustrated guests that there seems to be something wrong with the hotel's system? No one made any announcement about there being a system error, or why it was taking an extremely long time to get people checked-in. Multiple guests in front of me were very frustrated and one guest had to come back to the desk about the the elevator not working and that she had to take the stairs. Again, NO O NE from the front desk nade an announcement to let us know that the elevator was down! The ONLY working elevator could only fit like 3 ppl MAX with NO LUGGAGE. By the time i received my room key it was WELL AFTER 4 P.M. after been on a 9hrs flight Our room lost all power. No sufficient towels. However, there is a star font desk a.m. lady petite with black hair, was amazing! She did her best to try & make the rest of our stay nic

We were amazed to be staying at one of the oldest hotels in Germany. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed Wiesbaden. There were abundant stores and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. A special thanks to hotel employee Cem. We asked him to take a picture of our family and he not only did so, but gave us a quick tour of the hotel and an amazing history lesson on the property. He was very knowledgeable and made our stay even better. Highly recommend staying at the Schwartzer Bock hotel.
