The hotel is nice. The room was spacious and comfortable. Wonderful views. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was yummy and beautiful sitting outside. Bus stop right at hotel is so convenient and the hike to the castle is really nice - about 3.5 miles round trip
Fabulous room. Immaculate. Conveniently located to Burg Eltz. We had a wonderful dinner on the terrace. Breakfast I wasn’t included but was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Very helpful service, I arrived late after the check in time but I was welcomed with great hospitality. Breakfast was good. Nice country side stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Dieter was an amazing host. Room was great. Breakfast was great. Location great for Burg Eltz, but remote for other sights.
Two issues on Expedia there is no laundry at the location and expedia should mention that their restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Very friendly staff. despite electro outage, theytried their best. Clean ample rooms. Most convenient overnight for visiting Eltz Castle. Surroundings provide excellent hiking possibilities. Otherwise it is just a 20 min drive to the Mosel with more activities over steep windy roads.
The staff were great! We arrived very early and did not want to impose on a super early check in. They let us use the hotel parking and we walked around for a few hours. When we came back to rest (it was a hot day) in the lobby, They let us check in much earlier Than people should expect. We really appreciate their graciousness. Hotel is gorgeous and everything was immaculate. Right on the river near Altstadt. Would definitely stay here again.
This was such a great little hotel / bed & breakfast. The gentleman that runs the place was so friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was great. Such a cute, quaint little place! Would definitely recommend!
WE enjoyed a wonderful stay at Landhaus vor Burg Eltz. It was a nice walk to the castle. The owner and staff were very attentive. Lunch in the restaurant was perfect. If you are going to visit Burg Eltz, this is the place to stay.
A comfortable and quaint traditional German hotel. I was concerned at first because some of the reviews mentioned noise, but our room on the second floor was nice and peaceful. There is plenty of place to park even if the marked lots are full. It is an easy walk to the Burg Eltz. The owner is friendly and welcoming, and we also met a really attentive waitress in the restaurant. We are English-speaking and felt very welcome there.
The breakfast was small and simple but sufficient and fresh. The owner also made fried eggs for us, which were perfectly done and delicious. We also had dinner at the restaurant and loved the wild boar sausage. I had the tarte with the sausage on it, and it was great.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to visit Burg Eltz.
Riesig, modern ausgestattet, möblierter Balkon, Rolläden, Wasserkocher mit allem was dazu gehört.
