“The room was adequate but very dark as the only window looked out on a wall. Needed lights on all the time and no view of the grounds at all. The room also had a somewhat unpleasant smell and absolutely no decor. The bed was okay. Restaurant was okay but pricey. Would have welcomed some lighter dinner choices.”

“Everything was absolutely perfect! Village location that’s not too difficult to get to via car. Private car park directly across the street from the hotel. Bus stop right down the road in Crumplehorn. Full breakfast included in the rate. Spotless, comfy rooms with daily housekeeping. Teas and coffees, etc. in the room and refreshed daily with housekeeping. Highly recommend this hotel!”

“On arrival had to give credit card details in full rather than swipe as there had been drig users there before us and they had to remove needles most frightening experience wondered wheee I was staying. “Agree entirely with a previous review. Not an hotel, just a B&B with bar and a very limited menu. The proprietess wanted to talk at us. The son, considerably older than 21, came up to us in the bar and said his mother would be with us soon to serve us drinks. Clearly he was not authorized to.
