“A good hotel with clean comfortable rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Evening restaurant meals were okay with a pretty "standard" menu with an odd approach of staggering restaurant sittings for larger groups. The location is somewhat out of the way which makes getting there a little difficult without a car. Rooms do not have air conditioning and do not come with a fridge which I would have expected given the prices for rooms. I would stay again if visiting the area...

“The Ilfracombe is a little olde worlde but very comfortable and quiet. The beds are comfortable, the rooms clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast served in their quaint breakfast room is absolutely superb and set us up well for a long day's walking in the sea air! ”

“Seven was very well located on the top of the cliff overlooking the pier and close to the cliff lift. It had a private car park at the back. Check in was fine and the staff were helpful and polite. The room was clean and tidy and well equipped. Our room had plenty of hanging space but no drawers or useful shelves for clothes. Tea and coffee provided. My only comment would be the bathroom door opened through the walk in shower which was a bit odd, if someone was in the shower you couldn't...
