After 20 minutes of inaction and repeated study of my booking receipt (on my iPhone), they said they would take 15 minutes to make up my room (confirmed by Max on the phone as the more expensive Deluxe Villa). 30 minutes later, they tried to put me in a Superior Villa. “The art at this place is why I came here. The host is incredible and kind, creative and a pillar of his community. He took me on a bike ride around the town, a candle lighting ceremony at the temple, and to other beautiful locations. The food was delicious, and again, the art in the space created a fantastical experience.”

“When we arrived, we did not realize that they had discontinued the elephant encounter. The owner / manager was so kind that he accommodated us with another elephant in excursion and transportation free of charge. The staff was super friendly and their rooms were excellent. I highly recommend this for a romantic getaway.”
