Two night stay for full day of meetings in Whyalla. Clean and comfortable room, slept well. Very helpful and warm welcome by a cleaner on arrival. Easy check in procedure with “virtual receptionist” - information was also provided via SMS.

Check in was conveniently simplified as we received a friendly text explaining room and facilities access. This really helped as we may have needed to arrive later than planned. The bed and the shower were great as these are usually the two factors that put us off from rebooking a Motel. We did have traffic noise but the Motel is located on a major road which gave us easy access to everywhere in Whyalla.

Could not speak to anyone as there was no reception. Even when I messaged them I received no reply. Wifi was pretty flaky. Otherwise property was clean, mostly quite and cheap. Under $100 per night.

The rooms are neat and nice. The linen seems washed and fresh. The kitchen philosophy is confusing. There is a good assortment of plates and cups in the room, but no knives, forks or spoons??? I did not like the receptionist being over a video link

The adage, "You get what you pay for" applies here. We were only staying one night and only spent about 8 hours in the room, mostly sleeping. The matress was comfortable enough but the pillows were woeful. The room it self was clean enough but but the bathroom in particular carried a patina of age.and wear. They use combination locks on the doors and a 'remote' check in, messaging codes and then calling to ensure you have made it to the room sothere is no time pressure to check in which was handy. If your looking for a short term budget stay it's worth a look.

The room was outdated but of generous size, newly painted, exceptionally clean, nice shower, nice bad, a/c that worked well, nice area to prepared breakfast with all that is necessary - micro, toaster, jug, plates and cutlery and a table to sit an eat. Very good value for the price. Very happy. Everything is close in Whyalla so convenience is not a issue

I think this accomodation is terrific value for money. It was spotlessly clean, checkin and communication was outstanding and the shower was brilliant after some very cold diving at Stony Point. Sure it's a little dated and showing its age, but if you're looking for something clean and tidy to rest your head for the night, you can't go wrong here - wouldn't hesitate to book again.
