The stay here was okay. You can definitely tell it’s an older building, and the rooms are showing their age. But the owners are working on some remodeling. The only thing that would have been better in the room was a lamp on the other side of the room, not just the small one by the door. The staff were great and super helpful.

Under new management, one can see that improvements are being made continuously. Most important for us - the beds are new (not super quality but firm and gave good sleeps). The rooms are simple but clean and neat. The staff is friendly and helpful - one of the cleaners has been singing softly all morning. The hotel is situated on the riverfront and it was a pleasure waking up each morn to a view of the river, the far bank and mountains, and the well-used walkway. A lot of gift shops, museums and restaurants are within walking distance.

Super sufficient budget hotel. The view of the river and the mountains makes up for the aging building. The staff was great--very helpful, polite and responsive.

I had a wonderful stay at Canada's Best Value Inn River Hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location, conveniently close to local attractions and amenities. One of the highlights of the stay was the breathtaking view of the Yukon River right from the hotel. Waking up to such beautiful scenery made the experience truly special. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning river views make this hotel a great choice for anyone visiting the area. I highly recommend Canada's Best Value Inn River Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with an amazing location and unforgettable views of the Yukon River.

Price was reasonable to stay. They accommodated us for an extra hour for checkout. Water pressure was great in the shower, but toilet seemed less; yet still flushed well. No AC, but a floor fan helped out big time. Would have been nice to have some sort of chair in the room as there was a lot of space available, as opposed to sitting on the bed. Overall, our stay was good and we will definitely stay here again.

When I reserved a room, the website provided a very good looking picture and the room was exactly what the picture protrayed. However, when arrving to the property, the building looked very old, run down and the area around it was sketchy. Multiple drug users, with a worn down exterior, out dated and somewhat worn down lobby and hallways worried me. However, I was pleasantly surprised about the cleanliness and comfort of the room. Very clean and quiet. Parking was not easy but found a spot.

The hotel is old but the rooms were clean and comfortable. As senior citizens we found the lack of an elevator wasn't the best for taking our luggage to our second floor room. Staff member, Daniel, was extremely helpful getting out tv to work. The downtown location is ideal for shopping and walking alongside the river.

This was a pet friendly hotel, my daughter and her family, and my husband were moving them from Fairbanks, AK to Battletown, KY. They had 3 dogs, a cat, and a kid. The rooms were large, and well kept. Close to restaurants, the Yukon River walk, and amenities. The staff helped us out when leaving. They were 45 minutes away, and realized neither had put their cat in the car. She called panick stricken, I contacted the front desk, the attendant immediately checked the room. He was under the bed. She secured the room, advised housekeeping to remain out until they returned. This is one of my daughter's babies, she was thrilled. Great job and THANK YOU IMMENSELY from the Peck/Karness families.

This place needs a facelift..worn out carpets, sticky floor, smell of weed from the guests permeates the lobby. The Front Desk Staff is the saving grace of this hotel. Stayed as just need a place to sleep for a few hours for an early flight the following day, was passing through, wouldnt book here again

Room is good, quiet, clean (microwave, fridge, tv, wifi) for my 2 winter night stay. I met 3 staffs in their shifts and very friendly and accommodating (except for one 😞)…. I just hope the lobby were more inviting and welcoming. 😊… thank you.
