The visitor center had two very friendly ladies working there. Very informative about the area and things to see.

In my opinion Whitehall is an interesting community. With quaint looking shops, as well as some nationally known companies.

I spent my day at a family, wedding. So Whitehall was not on my agenda. Great gas prices.

Playhouse at White Lake is terrific since its renovation, and the performance of "Escanaba in da Moonlight" was so well-done. My experience of Michigan-ers (-ites? -arians?) is that they are friendly and cheerful, generous and helpful.
