The hotel room was comfortable and clean. The hallways and lobby was undergoing extensive renovations. One concern was the railing height and design on the second floor lobby area and on the balconies-likely due to the renovations. The (included) breakfast was very good! Staff were very helpful at check in and check out. I would stay here again.

The whole space is undergoing renos - I knew this when I booked. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and explained the renos. The room was clean and equipped and in good order, and the beds were comfortable. There was actually even a bit of a view of the river from the window! Breakfast gave a number of options, including selecting and ordering ahead of time, if you're in a hurry. Breakfast was quiet and quick, and checkout was uncomplicated. I would love to have eaten with metal utensils instead of wood, though. I can't wait to come back in the future to see how this older character hotel looks with a new face, when the reno is done!
