Nice big rooms and bathroom although a bit dusty room 4 rear facing also used the cups and spoons to make coffee but they was not replaced with clean ones next morning and had to wash them in the bathroom sink (not ideal )lovely breakfast staff very helpful at breakfast ,close to the center parking exspensive if you cant get round the crescent with your scratch card that cost a couple of pounds its £11 a day even tho i have moaned about a couple of miner things i would stay again as it is an ideal location.

A lovely hotel in a fantastic location in Whitby, with beautiful views over the sea and harbour. From the moment I arrived, Zed and his team were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful, making me feel right at home. The breakfast was excellent — the area was perfectly stocked with plenty of choice, and the cooked food was prepared beautifully and presented wonderfully on the plate. Everything felt thoughtful and high quality. It’s easy to see why this hotel has won awards. The service, food, and location all come together to create a genuinely five-star experience. Richly deserved. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The riviera is in the perfect location, 5 mins to the harbour, but nice and quiet.The hotel room was spotless , of a generous size with an amazing view overlooking the sea. The owners were very welcoming and the breakfast was faultless along with the service which was exceptional. It was our first time here, we will be back definitely, this should be a go to stop for anyone visiting Whitby, thank you.

On the West Cliffs with a lovely view of the sea and the harbour from our third floor room (the stairs were tiring after a long day!). Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. For £3 the guest house can provide a parking card valid for four days in Whitby. We had no trouble parking in the street around the corner.

Fabulous sea front location. Friendly staff. Payable permit parking close by. No lift, so lots of stairs to take into consideration. Overall, good cleanliness, practical room space with all the standard goodies supplied. Excellent breakfast selection also included.

A nice place to spend the night

Clean and friendly, a lot of stairs to access the rooms, but it is an option to have your bags carried up. Attic room had extremely low beam on one side of the double bed, which made room really not suitable for two adults staying in it. Lovely breakfast, with great views and easy access to the beach

A great customer service from the confirmation of the booking to leaving. All staff are friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious. I think it was the little touches such as Zed coming round at breakfast time checking in with everyone that they are ok.
