Pride stopover

Stayed in this B&B in the past and it never disappoints. I needed to break my journey to Hull for the pride celebrations and this was ideal as a place to have a stopover. Modern internet smart television and a separate bathroom to use outside of tge room which was exclusively for room 4 I stayed in . Away from the harbour and the mass tourism crowds but close enough to the pubs, cafes and railway station with a 12 minute walk to enjoy a quiet place to stay and rest

Great room at a very reasonable price.

Lovely and clean, good sized double bedroom. Tea and coffee making facilities. Ensuite small bathroom with lovely, easy to use, shower. TV, though not a lot of channels. Parking permit is a bonus, although finding a space can be tricky. Great room at a very reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Very happy

We had a very nice stay at The Esklet Guest House. The owner met us on arrival and gave a very clear instruction on the parking arrangements. It is on street parking, the owner gave us a parking disc for the first night and also a permit for the following two days. Very useful to have clear instruction rather than be left to figure it out yourself. The accomodation was a large ground floor room. Very clean and comfortable. There is no breakfast as was made clear on the booking, but there is something wrong if you can't find a decent breakfast in Whitby! All in all we were very pleased with The Esklet and would be happy to stay again next time we visit Whitby. Thank you.

This guest house was perfectly situated with just a 10 minute walk to the harbor. The room was nice and clean, but the only downside was that the bed settee was a bit uncomfortable and the shower made a really load noise when it was switched on.

Cost effective, basic but comfortable.

Comfortable no-frills guest house, well priced and conveniently situated at the top end of Whitby. Parking vouchers are available free to enable street parking outside. The establishment doesn’t provide breakfast but there are plenty of options nearby. There’s no residents lounge which was not a problem for me but some people might want to know. There is free WiFi but it is patchy and the phone signal locally is not brilliant. However, it is enough for basic connectivity. My room had en-suite facilities, tea/coffee, television. Room cleaning and maintenance was sporadic but adequate and particular requests were met with action. Overall a good cost effective accommodation. No complaints.
