“Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help.”

“A very satisfied stay at the Hawksmoor Guest House. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing and cooked from scratch. Our room was available earlier than stated and was very clean and comfortable. The location was great too, just a 15 minute walk to the town and Lake Windermere. “We had a lovely weekend in Windermere and this hotel was very much a part of the pleasure. We got a free upgrade to The Oscar Wilde suite which was huge and lovely. We went to their sister hotel to use the Health club facilities which was really relaxing. I would highly recommend this hotel.”
