We stay in a comfortable and well equipped sea view room with a double bed. The location is ideal for swimmers and taking in the beauty and charm of Weymouth. Our host Melanie has been fantastic. From arrival to leaving, the friendly nature has made the short stay a very pleasant experience.

Literally a stone's throw from the beach, you can hear the waves lapping up onto the shore as you drift off to sleep. Just off the main promenade so it's quieter but still very handy for all the main cafes, restaurants, shops, pubs etc. Great breakfast, great coffee. Very homely feel with lots of nice design touches, books, games etc. And Melaney is lovely!

we enjoyed our stay, Melaney was so friendly made us feel very welcome, The view from the bedroom was amazing it was so relaxing to hear the sea while sitting in the bay window having a cup of tea. We had cake in the room on arrival, Toiletries in the bathroom and bathrobes The mini fridge had bottled water and real milk which was a lovely touch. Very close to the town centre but the road the guest house is on is a dead end so not through traffic so lovely and quiet. Breakfast was fab as well, highly recommend staying at Chanel View

Not stayed in a B&B for many years but we just wanted one night away through the Easter holidays with our little grandson. This place is directly on the beach. The Hotel offers more than you could imagine but not closing the window wine glasses in the bedroom as well home-made banana cake a mini fridge dressing gowns ironing board nice bathroom lovely choice at breakfast much much better than I thought a B&B would be they have definitely gone all out.

Excellent location right opposite the beach. Room 2 has a great bay window sitting area with a panoramic view of the seascape and sunrise. It also has one single and one double bed. Lovely landlady Melaney to greet you on arrival. Folder in room with great local information. Small refrigerator in room.

I loved staying in this b&b so close to the sea, being an all year round swimmer being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the sea, appealed to me. Melanie is the hostess with the mostest. Her welcome gift of fresh homemade banana bread was the icing on the cake. Lovely breakfast, friendly chat and a lovely ambiance. Good value for money, lovely room with breathtaking view, just the perfect size for a single person exploring the delights of Weymouth. I throughly enjoyed my stay here. Melanie bought something ordinary and turned it into extraordinary. I’d stay again.

Lovely warm welcome

We were met by Melaney and made to feel welcome, immediately. We were fortunate to have been upgraded to a sea view room. We were very pleased about this as the view was beautiful. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a slice of banana cake that was amazing. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality too. Melaney made us feel as tho nothing was too much trouble and there was also a folder offering personal recommendations on places to eat and visit. We were only staying one night, but this has made us want to visit again and would happily book to stay at Channel View again
