Very comfortable room, staff excellent, we had dinner there and it was delicious, we didn’t have breakfast (which was included in our price) as we were leaving at 6.45 to catch the Ferry, but they provided us with sandwich, fruit juice and a selection of danish pastries, which we hadn’t expected. Definitely recommend them for a stay.

The Talbot is a home from home. You are made to feel extremely comfortable and welcome, nothing is too much trouble and the service is second to none. The food is amazing, the location is central to Wexford town and the view across the Quay is beautiful and peaceful. The rooms are so relaxing and have the most comfortable quality furniture from the beds down to the pillows and seating in the room. The towels are large and fluffy. The toiletries are of good quality and the teas and coffees in the room are Bewleys. They think of everything. The most comfortable and relaxing stay that I have had in any hotel

The hotel is in a great location with beautiful views out to sea. The rooms are tired and the bathroom in particular needs updating and some maintenance The bed is comfortable but they are using damaged duvets which is a bit weird. The rooms have no safe which I think they should have. The pool and spa area is fine but also needs updating and maintenance. Gym was excellent The bar area is superb and open late Breakfast is also fine and is a buffet The staff are delightful and extremely helpful Parking is plentiful and convenient Overall the hotel is good and I understand is undergoing a refurb, once that is done I’m sure it will be excellent
