Beautiful property in walking distance to the main shopping area. Brilliant food served at the hotel with an exceptional breakfast. Hotel is stunning apart from a few we pain jobs needing done in the rooms and staircases. Absolutely recommend anyone to stay here.

The staff were very friendly at check in. However there was only one of two lifts working and a sign recommending only two people using it at a time. This was good practice, although once a rude chap burst in stating that he had has COVID twice already this year so didn’t mind catching it a third time. Extremely rude. The double room was badly laid out. One side of the bed had two chairs (very crowded), two sockets and two USB charging ports. The other side had nothing apart from a wide open space. Why not move one of the chairs across? The bed was very soft and uncomfortable. There was central heating but no air conditioning so the room was very warm. We ate in the restaurant and bistro in the evenings. While the food was very tasty, the speed at which it was served (less than 5 min) and the texture suggested that it may have been heated in a microwave rather than cooked fresh. Breakfast was very tasty. Overall, a pleasant experience, let down by a number of inconsistencies that could easily be addressed.
