“No air conditioning in bedroom and a 10.5 tog duvet on the bed in summer. Couldn't have the window open as room was on the ground floor and the safety cable, designed to stop the window being opened more than a couple of inches, was broken and hanging off. After enduring a very uncomfortable night I asked the receptionist if the duvet could be replaced with a lighter one. She said she would speak to housekeeping and that perhaps they could supply a couple of sheets if a duvet was not available....

“Checked into my room, honestly could not believe the room I was given when I walked in. Very outdated and dusty, lots of webs and spiders in corners of ceiling with a damp musty smell every time you walk in. Peeled walls in corners from dampness. Bathroom was quite nice and clean but very low pressure water in the shower. Spa facilities were quite pleasant and enjoyable, although the changing rooms could be cleaned thoroughly. The buffet breakfast was okay but not as described, very basic and...

“Place was clean and lovely and staff very helpful. I would’ve loved to have found out what the “meal deal” was in the lounge though. And no air conditioning so our room was sooooo hot at night. We had a fan that helped but was so hard to sleep. I understand it’s not the hotels fault but yeah it wasn’t as hot outside anymore it seemed to retain the heat from the last few months still”

“The property was clean. George and Jordan were very welcoming. There was a choice of continental breakfast or cooked breakfast. Parking is free. We were really happy with our king room, there is a shower, toilet, sink and bath in our room. The bedroom is very big, wardrobes. Two very Happy customers and will definitely be back there again.”
