Nice independent lodge in West Yellowstone. Lots of history and cool animal mounts around the hotel lobby and the associated next door Three Bears Restaurant (which was excellent). Rooms themselves were about average for a hotel.

We loved the natural wooden ambiance of both the hotel and the restaurant immensely. The room and towels were very clean and white with plenty of space & amenities. The restaurant's complimentary breakfast buffet was like no other- truly made for a day of exploring the natural wonders of Yellowstone Park. My husband & I came here as a 30th anniversary present from our children for a quick 4-day trip and we loved it. Miss it already.

Where do I even start? The 3 bear lodge was comfortable, unique, and gorgeous! We were inspired by all their decor and reused materials, and touched by the kindness of the staff. The breakfast was delicious and they were always welcome when we took just “1” more cookie. I would definitely recommend staying here!Awesome property with great staff!!

The included hot buffet was one of the best I've experienced. The room was comfortable with two chairs and adequate light for reading. On the negative side: the toilet was low (almost child size), there were no grab bars in the bathroom, and the bar soaps were not replenished and didn't last through our 3 day stay.
