We stayed at Green Harbor Resort over Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately, the weather was cold and rainy, so the outdoor pool was closed. The staff gave us access to their sister properties, Blue Water and Red Jacket Resorts. We went to Blue Water since it has an indoor pool, but it was very crowded with kids and quite small, so we weren’t really able to swim or relax.
Even without seeing the rooms at the sister properties, Green Harbor still felt much quieter and more peaceful, which we appreciated. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful, and the location was great with mini golf and easy beach access. (But was raining whole weekend).
My main concern is the bathroom ventilation. There was no exhaust fan, so odors would linger in the room for a long time and didn’t fully go away even with the window or door open. Because of the smell and poor ventilation, I ended up sneezing and feeling a bit unwell during the stay. Adding proper centilation would really improve comfort and air quality.
Overall, I would still give it 4.5 stars and would recommend it for a quiet, relaxing stay.
