“The house is large and nicely decorated and reasonably well equipped especially for larger family groups. We struggled a little as a lot of larger dishes and we were only two. Also heavy hinting on vegetarian meals with only veggie cookbooks in kitchen ? Felt a bit pointed. We found it cold although upstairs timing for heating was dealt with quickly on us contacting the appointed person although no return contact from text. “A comfortable cottage with all necessary amenities, including a wood burning stove and plenty fuel. Located in a small village near a friendly pub. Village shop is only open half days but Leyburn with a range of shops and places to eat is only 4 miles. Great area for walking”

“A great atmosphere at the Tan Hill, a good crowd was in on the night that we visited. The dinner was very good and the breakfast excellent. Our room was great with a good view out over the moors. If we're ever up that way we'll definitely stay again.”
