“Wonderful stay at the Jockey Club rooms, beautiful building and grounds. The room was beautiful, the bathroom was huge with a free standing bath. The breakfast was very good, served in a grand dining room, all the staff we met were very helpful, polite and informative. Especially the night manager, he had a great knowledge of the history of the Jockey Club rooms and their amazing wealth of the Arti facts, paintings and extensive rooms, the bar area was really splendid. “Comfy bed, good value, good breakfast choices”

“Thankful for the fan in a heatwave. Helpful staff and a decent breakfast. Bedroom carpet badly stained. Shower had a lot of mould in it . Loo flush was not attached to the wall.”

“Well presented clean room on the ground floor with excellent facilities. Food and drink excellent. Staff were incredibly helpful with any queries, we felt like one of the family. I have never commented on any other survey before this, so must have have made a very big impression ! Thank you and congratulations to your staff Matt our stay with you was wonderful. “Check in was super quick and the staff are polite and friendly. Room was ok. Fridge came in handy, and we spotted an iron with a small ironing board. Also tea/coffee making facilities. I suspect the room could get warm, but there was a fan there, which we didn't need. The double glazed window in room 3, opens a bit, but the old sash windows behind it don't open. “Honestly could not fault this place at all. Staff very welcoming and attentive. If things were not available in your room they would be more than happy to help and provide eg. Iron and Iron Board. The breakfast was amazing and the fresh pastel del nata was even better than what I’ve had in Portugal! 10/10 recommend ”

“Wifi didn't work at my room at all, nice hotel with very good restaurant but nowadays good WIFI quality is a must, in a business trip very needed. Personally I found the mattress too soft.”
