The location is lovely, just out of the main settlement and with views of the ocean from the verandah. The tropical garden is very calming and makes the place feel like a real retreat. The room was very comfortable and includes thoughtful touches like a mini torch, diffuser, and NutriBullet. Everything important was nice and clean I.e. the bathroom, kitchenette and bed, however, we did notice huge amounts of dust behind things like the wardrobe and the canvas that hangs above the bed (we weren’t put off by this but the room probably needs a deep clean at some point). Ben and Maui were lovely hosts and we’d definitely stay again!

Seaview suited us for our stay on Cocos. We enjoyed the 15 minute walk to the town centre, even at times in the rain with an umbrella. Plus the walk on the beach behind the accommodation. Only a sea glimpse from balcony! But the outlook of the garden is magnificent. The rooms kitchen adequate for breakfast and light lunch preparation. Sitting area on veranda lovely to look out onto tropical garden. Communal kitchen and lounge area in garden great for BBQ or drinks with friends. Fantastic not to have children staying, only adults/couples.

Belen and Levi were excellent hosts. We were collected from the airport and had dinner cooked for us on the first night, which was great since the plane arrived around 6pm. Room was really comfortable with air con and ceiling fan, large fridge, freezer, microwave and basic cooking utensils. Free laundry very useful for washing beach gear. An easy walk to restaurant, cafe and pub. Wifi was good, although uploading photos to social media chewed through the data allowance quite quickly.

Illiant place to stay

Loved the stay. Everyone was so friendly i really liked rhe welcome dinner on the first night. Rooms were very clean and practical. I also used the free bikes for getting around the island.

Absolutely perfect! Great location in a tropical setting, with everything that a guest would need - even a home cooked pizza on evening of arrival that we both believe to be the best pizza we have ever had! This was our first holiday to Cocos Islands that are the most beautiful Islands imaginable and staying at Cocos Seaview made it even better

Cocos Seaview is an excellent place for 14 days.

Cocos Seaview is an excellent place to stay on Cocos (Keeling) Island. It has all the things you need for a 14 day stay. Mini-kitchen for light cooking, comfortable bed, TV has about 36 channels. There is washer to clean your clothes and the bathroom/shower is great.

Cocos Island - when you want to get away

The only reason you go to Cocos Islands is to get away from it all. There's not much to do apart from swim, snorkel, walk and enjoy the serenity! West Island is small and you can get around very easily with the help of a car, scooter or bike. The water is on your doorstep for a spot of swimming or snorkelling. Cocos Seaview offers rooms that cater for all your needs. A small kitchen where you prepare your own meals. Fridge is big enough to store all the food you will need for your stay. Tips - take minimal clothing and fill your suitcase with food. You will need reef shoes to walk in the water. It is a coral atoll after all. Don't expect too much in the way of eating out either. It's pretty basic offering and expensive. Seaview is all very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Life is pretty laid back.

Holiday in Paradise

Lindy & Phil (caretakers) were excellent hosts. Not long after we arrived Phil took us on a tour of the island which was most interesting. The accommodation was lovely, very clean and a good location. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on Cocos Islands.

Awesome place and the owners are great hosts

Cocos Seaview = Ray & Susan were amazing. The accommodation was perfect. Ray & Susan made it feel like a second home rather than a hotel. Highly suggest anyone stay here.
