Vacations Close To West End-Elliott Overlook Park

Had a blast. We wish we could've stayed a couple of more days. Definitely recommend the landing to all who are thinking about staying here.

The ETAGE Executive Living is the Pittsburgh place to stay if you appreciate a modern sleek hotel. floor to ceiling glass, in a large comfortable space right in the center of town! An 11/10 rating for location! Hotel is at market square, bus stops/T subway, 28X bus to/from airport, Gateway center, PBG glass skyscrapers, Primanti bros and many other bars and restaurants. Point park is a 5 min walk. Theatres, comedy shows and music within 10 min walk. PROS: central location, large rooms. full kitchen-condo vrbo style living, Game room, modern sexy vibe, upscale athletic club, Rooftop terrace with sports court/pet walk/loungers, business floor #12 for printing boarding passes etc..., Penthouse floor 13 for slanted sleek glass ceiling over beds. Rooms inside billiards room floor 11 fun for more active groups, onsite self parking ($40), easy check in, good online communication pre arrival, Comfy bed CONS: exterior entrance and parking dirty and uninviting, no room service, no daily housekeeping, no hotel restaurant/bar, no bell hop, maintenance repairs needed to tighten up units (clean AC /bath vents, stove tops, toilet paper holders loose, couch upholstery cleaning), Rooms were clean however. I would absolutely stay here again especially if arriving with large group, extended stays or families. A great value if you're ok with less service more space! Our 2 bedroom corner suite in the sky was amazing off the billiards room with spectacular walls of glass for great city views.

We didn’t have the remote control to watch TV. There was no heat. We were cold freezing all night. I couldn’t get any sleep. I was up all night. They didn’t fix the heat until about 11 o’clock when it was checkout time I would like a refund.

Booked a king room, got a double queen instead overlooking the pool which was really loud in the room when people were there. Also, sink plugged up when running water and bathroom door wouldn’t close unless you lifted it to straighten it up on the hinges. Not what I expected of a Doubletree.

Great location, beautifully updated. Thoughtful details in the rooms to maximize the small space.

Unique experience, very cool.
