This is an excellent place to stay. We wish we had stayed here over the previous place. Great people, room along with the whole property was spotless. I mean SPOTLESS. I guess it’s family owned and run and they are super sweet and their care really shows with the property. We will definitely come back to this area again and will stay here.

Very convenient location, it’s on the main road so there is some traffic noise but very minimal. The rooms are clean and simple. Breakfast was simple, but the homemade fresh muffins were incredible. I loved how they were literally baking the muffins fresh in the kitchen right there and everyday had a new flavor. The staff was so lovely, helpful and kind. It was a perfect place for our trip. It’s definitely more of a motel layout - the one thing I wish they had was deadbolt locks on the door. It did feel very safe there, but I think for a motel room type of location it would make guests feel more comfortable to have a deadbolt lock like is standard in most hotels these days.

The rooms and property were as advertised. As we were there during the off season, it was very quiet and peaceful. The property was close enough to walk to a different dining option each evening. The one "disappointing" factor was that the breakfast offered was noted as "buffet breakfast." Our own assessment is that it was actually a continental breakfast as there was no hot food served nor eggs. The plus side to the breakfast was that the breakfast attendant actually made the muffins fresh in the oven, so you knew they were as fresh as they could be! We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay at this property again if the opportunity presented itself.

The staff were wonderful and very attentive to our needs. The only problems were that the coffee machine and microwave oven were too close to the wash basin for comfort. Another problem was that the vegetarian breakfast could only be had either standing, or on benches outside. That was a huge problem when it rained. But the staff were so nice and friendly that every other shortcoming would be forgotten/forgiven.

Very easy and pleasant check in. I had trouble logging in to the hotel WiFi and the nice person at check in said she’d call her boss just then, but I told her it wasn’t necessary. The bed was comfy and the sheets were soft, nice pillows and towels, but the air conditioner was distractingly loud, so trying to get to sleep I had to put a pillow over my head. I did let reception know this when I checked out. The shower was strong with plenty of pressure. A little slow to drain even with a short shower. The grounds and pool are very well tended (by Evan, a very nice young man) and looked pristine! Breakfast is fine, lots of carbs and yogurt available. I only went once because I’m not really a breakfast person. It’s an easy stay with parking right across from your door. Although on the main road (almost all are), the rumble of big trucks overnight isn’t an issue. This was my second stay.
