Although this is an older motel, room was nice and clean. It was nice and quiet. The gardens near the back were beautiful.

The floors in the room were upgraded to laminate which was a positive surprise. The rest was pretty worn, but as can be expected for the price. I booked for the location and would stay again if in the area.

Pleasantly Surprised

We were in town for a wedding and the motel was recommended by the bride and groom. It was was very quaint, charming and well maintained. We were surprised how spacious the room was, very clean with everything you needed (Towels, Cups, Fridge, Microwave, Coffee Machine, etc). It was a great location in town and the check in time of 1pm was extremely convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our stay was very comfortable we would come back again if we had something else going on in the area.

The rooms up the hill (118) although dated had comfy beds and all necessities, limited channels (no NHL). Room 103 smelled really bad like old smoke, the shower was gross and the bed sheets had what looked like a blood stain. When we called housekeeping (owner) they proceeded to blame us and were very very rude and not apologetic. The hotel appears to rent room by the week/month as there was some very sketchy ppl. The local restaurant also advised not to go out late at night as the town has a drug problem. Rooms were way overpriced.

King bed was uncomfortable. Staff tried to over charge despite having booked online. I booked the wrong day however manager was not accommodating with changing the date. Overall I would not say the accommodations were worth the money they charge. There was only a small bottle of shampoo and two small soaps, not worth the money. However I will say that the room, sheets and towels was very clean.
