We weren't notified on check in that there was no hot water... but were given complimentary breakfast the next morning, we only stayed the one night. Very clean and tidy with comfortable beds. No single bed options if you have children travelling with you which is disappointing.

Despite the dated decor, the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful, friendly and responsive - and I was particularly pleased by the gluten free choices for breakfast. The hotel is also well located for all of the sites.

The staff were very attentive and helpful. The room furniture was nice. I particularly liked the way you could use the sofa's desk extension to read while seated upright. A useful feature of the hotel was the elevator that took you down to the level of the street below the hotel, which was several floors down! The bar had a good selection.
