On arrival had to get all the bedding changed it was dirty and stained, booked for 3 people only had 2 towels asked for another they brought a tea towel. Took about 3 times to explain. No milk in the rooms

Co joined motels .hand written note in a window to redirect you. Then a phone call with a promise of a few minutes..20 minutes later we were given a key went to the room dirty carpets and old smokey smell with too moch cologne to cover. Got given another room ...new carpet clean and smelled ok .Bed was very comfortable..Bathroom clean and tidy...

I booked a reservation. Took out a cancellation plan incase, I was on holiday in Gisborne. I Had to change the date of my booking, because I couldn’t travel to Wellington due to the Wairoa flood. They weren’t helpful at all, & there was no refund, so they kept my $183

Cut out square in carpet, carpet sticky. You had no reception area had to go to next hotel. Only 2 plates and 1 bowl, no teaspoons, and 1 only use once milk!! Would not stay again.

Property is in dire need of TLC. Floor felt old and sticky including the carpet. Price was okay but even if its dirt cheap you wouldnt expect the place to be as dirty as it was. Lower your expectations and you might not be disappointed. We didnt feel the room was secure as thr main door felt very light and old; a small push might break it down.

Our room was spacious. All furniture required was there. Cooking equipment and crockery/cutlery adequate. The wall heater and fan heater did not work. Some dishes weren't clean. Dirty around oven top. No dishwasher powder. Alot of traffic noise, but that was to be expected for location. Poor wifi signal.

Absolutely disgusting, I have requested a full refund. Would attach photos if possible, dirt and filth, last straw was the cockroach crawling out from behind the bed past my head. I had to get out and find new accommodation it was so gross.

The oven is a hazard. Does not work properly, no markings on dials and unbeknown to us the grill came on automatically when we turned the power on at the wall and almost created a fire. The pillows are about 1cm thick. I woke up with a sore neck and a headache. Had to go out and buy a pillow to avoid this the next night. Other than that, the place was clean and tidy and the free offstreet parking was great..

Greeted by sign with another motel's address to collect keys. Asked if I got after-hours check-in email and giggled when I said no, is 8.30pm after-hours? Had to go back to other motel to request tea towel, dish sponge, face cloths and hand towels. Took time to produce 1st two. Learnt they don't provide face cloths or hand towels, only bath towels and mat. Ignored dirty towel. No instructions for old stove with markings worn off controls. Minimal cutlery. No sharp knife. Dish detergent provided in used plastic orange juice bottle. Ceiling light installed inside stall shower.

I had crisp clean sheets, which is normal. The shower curtain was moldy and needed cleaning or replacing. The TV didn't work well. I asked for new batteries for the remote, and was given batteries from another remote. I still couldnt get the TV to work properly. The lino is badly laid in the bathroom and toilet, which would make it difficult and time-consuming to clean well. I don't know what the other rooms are like. I was in Room 16.

I arrived very late (0200am) and I had to walk to the other side of the lodge to get the room key at that time🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️💔💔💔. It’s not good for first timers. Scary as hell. They should find ways to keep keys within property for clients. PLEASE.. Found the room not cleaned. They did clean the next day and didn’t bother cleaning again for the next 2 days I stayed there. They should have wifi passwords in the rooms. I had to wait for the following day to get the password to let my family know I was safe. I believe the place has a lot of potential
