By far, best place to stay in Sri Lanka! You have your little bungalow in a picturesque area surrounded by rice paddies, gardens, wild life. The pool is amazing, the food outstanding. The hotel staff is absolutely incredible. A special shout out to Kingsley, Madu and Salini and all staff. They welcome you like a family member.

This hotel is located in a beautiful, nature-rich setting with a magical atmosphere. The staff were incredibly hospitable and made our stay even more special. Overall my stay was great. The view and peacocks were beautiful. The food was also great. Only complaint I have is there was a mouse that entered our room. The hotel provided a mouse trap which did catch the mouse. Keep in mind that this room is outdoors so you may see insects and mosquitoes in your room.

Brilliant!

Stayed here in 2020 and loved it. Two night stay was fab. Did the night walk and the morning padi walk. Both fairly low key but interesting. Food is wonderful -beautifully presented and delicious. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Just loved our open air shower bathroom concept. Totally recommend the spa/massage.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel - but only once we'd upgraded to a room (chalet) with AC. We asked to move from our initial room, which the hotel accommodated for the extra cost of $50 per night. We decided it was worthwhile because our first room had holes in the mosquito net over the door, so we received 10 bites within the first hour of checking into the room! Plus the bathroom is outdoors (no ceiling), which is a great idea, but absolutely covered in bugs. Tricky for westerners who aren't used to mosquitos and their bites! Aside from that, the staff were wonderful - helpful and warm, especially the dining staff. The food was delicious and the portions huge, with great cocktails. Exploring the paddy fields surrounding the hotel is a nice perk too.

Very ineresting property that is quiet and serene. Staff is extremely friendly, kind and helpful but definitely need more training to be employed at a "five star" facility. Also, the facility has NO airconditioning and was extremly hot, humid and uncomfortable.

Beautiful hotel surrounded by nature however we stayed 4 nights and this was a bit too long as not much to do and far from Ella. Room wasn't huge and menu was quite limited for a 4 night stay.

We were stunned by everything at Jetwing Kaduruketha. Our Villa was perfect. Spotlessly clean with a gorgeous view over the paddy fields. The service was unobtrusive but excellent. The food exceptional and our butler (who we called Can Do because he could do everything) was special. We will long remember him and his smile. We learned that most of the staff come from the local village & you could feel their happiness & camaraderie in being there. We cycled to the village where the local shopkeeper insisted on giving us a coconut from his garden and visited the local Buddhist monastery where we were also made very welcome. We walked & saw incredible birds with our guide. The peacocks, land monitors & weaver birds were all around us. If only every hotel could be as exceptional as this one is.

Beautiful hotel in fantastic grounds teaming with wildlife, the wild peacocks in particular were a highlight. The bungalows themselves are lovely and stylish. This is a high end hotel and has the service and food quality you'd expect, but the staff do make a real effort to be particularly helpful and attentive. An ideal base to chill out and explore Ella and around.

Complete Sri Lanka Experience in one Hotel

The most beautiful hotel set amongst the peace of the paddy fields. Just far enough from the bustle of Ella but still within easy reach of everything you could want from the area. Everything’s thing from the rooms, to the food, to the pool are paradise. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you. Pradeep was the finest host we could ever wish for. From his recommendations of delicious Sri Lankan food fresh from the kitchen (and straight from the on site farm) to the adventurous tours of the local’s secret waterfall and the sites of Ella we would never have found without him. He alone made our experience of the hotel. Could not recommend staying here enough.
