Staff was wonderful, professional and welcoming. The hotel has been around for a long time so we didn’t expect any “modern” amenities, however the whole place was very clean, neat and cozy. We had a fantastic stay and we will be back.

This hotel is steps away from the bus station and ferry pick up/drop off. Also a 3 minute walk from the Mark Twain point (beautiful scenery). The staff was the best hotel staff I have ever encountered and made us feel right at home 24/7. The dinner was fantastic and so much fun. We will be back in the summer!

we have really enjoyed a relaxed day at the lake, all the ladies (reception, housekeeping, breakfast service) were very welcoming and friendly. the building has a lot of charm from the old days. we will surely be back.

Pleasant hotel

Stayed for one night with my 7 year old daughter. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was fine. The coffee was not to my taste, but it wouldn’t keep me from coming back. Waking up with a view of the mountains across the lake was a nice easy to start the day.

Great stay and highly recommended!!!

This was the best stay among all of our trips across Europe. The staff is friendly and the hotel is great!! I cannot say enough good things about our stay. Mount Rigi was a short walk behind the hotel and the ferry to Lucerne was right down the road. Didn't have to drive the entire time we were there.

Swiss luxury in quaint village

Lovely small boutique hotel with 5star service. Highly recommend. Gorgeous views of the mountains and direct in Lake Lucerne. All staff was more than helpful. Very Swiss and would stay again!

Everything about this charming hotel is wonderful. Built in 1883. Do you feel like you’ve stepped back in time to enjoy an exclusive hotel by the lake. We had breakfast and dinner there, both were delicious.

Great location

Situated bang on the lake with great views from the restaurant / terrace. Some parking on site. Rooms a good size. The nearby church bell is quite loud. Very good breakfast, and for Switzerland good value.

Hotel Staff was unbelievable sweet and helpful. The rooms are spacious. We had a small balcony facing Lake Lucerne…incredible view. The hotel is in Weggis so about 40 minutes from Lucerne. The only complaint I would have would be the hotel hallways looked dingy and old but the rooms were nice.

Beautiful view and area. So happy I stumbled on this gem. The area was peaceful not crowded and near Mt. Rigi. Near bus stop and boat. Didn’t have much parking so you have to be lucky. The property was nice. The actual hotel is older but clean. Staff were kind and attentive. Enjoyed the breakfast and the restaurant was great.

Disappointing but area beautiful

Basic hotel with dirty carpets, strange old lift that stopped working. Basic breakfast. Not very helpful or friendly staff apart from one young girl. The bed was comfortable and it had a good shower but nowhere in bathroom to put bottles, creams, toilet bag etc. The location is beautiful so it’s a shame that they don’t make more of the inside.

The hotel is kind of old and you can’t hear the noise from next door. The bathroom is not as clean as a three stars rate hotel should be. The hotel doesn’t have enough parking space for customers’ car. We need to park in a public parking 160 meters away from the hotel. Breakfast were supplied and the view was good.
