The front desk person was great. The place looked appropriate for the stay. There were roaches in the room. I was able to inspect the place prior. I did not see any roaches. After reading reviews I asked about roaches. I was told that there were no roaches. That was a disappointment to see

Multiple things were bad there. (dim lighting, smells like a mixture of mold and weed, bugs in the bathroom, I can hear the neighbor on his phone- and he wasn't even talking loudly, etc.) But if you need somewhere to sleep for a couple hours for cheap- this is that.

From the outside the facility seemed nice and up-to-date; marquee showed HBO, Showtime and breakfast. On checking in, the lobby was dingy and the breakfast area was dark...very dark. The room was in serious need of updating to meet today's minimum level of travel convenience. Electrical outlets are worn out and the plug falls out. No USB outlets or convenient electrical outlets to charge phones or other personal electronic items. Had to use the stairs because I couldn't find an elevator. Stairwell fire doors were permanently blocked open even though the sign on the door said to keep the door closed. No HBO or Showtime or breakfast as stated on the front of the sign. The saving grace is that there's a McDonalds next door for breakfast. Ah, the glamour of traveling!

The worst hotel that I stayed in. Room was not clean.The Tv had problems getting it to work. There was no breakfast but you offered in the booking info.

I stayed here years ago and was satisfied and that led to my staying here this time. Front desk staff is very pleasant and helpful, parking is ample and well lighted. Entry and hallway appear to have been upgraded, that's the end of any positive impressions, furnishings are worn and dated and there is no telling when the room had a thorough cleaning (dust balls around the edge of the room as well as the seat of the couch. If it weren't late in the evening I'd be seeking different accommodations.

we did not stay at Econo tthis place should be condemn toilets with ring around the inside hand washing bowl filthy, smoking around the pool and seems like prostitution going on the plant Volt People, and the solar people were filthy, dead plant in the foyea just waful. You run the place the way you wan to but i plan to contact the Health Dept. no place should be run like that , their should be rules and consequences and seems like there isn't any,, the front desk clerk was very polite and tried her best. we had to go to another hotel ans one night couln.t get a room. This is the second time my husband and I have traveled to Waynesboro for different family members funeral service. The 1st time, we were there there was hair and specks of blood around the toilet. At 1:00 o’clock in the morning someone that has up stairs from us, we thought they were bowling. My husband did notify the front desk. My husband was going to the door Saturday morning, when he opened the door there was a guy that was at the door with a key card trying to get into our room while he was her intoxicated. This visit is by far the worse, and we will not be returning to stay at this location ever again. This is sad!

This was the most disgusting room I have ever gotten on my vacation. There was cockroaches in the bathroom It had a 25 inch hair on the bathroom wall and I am blonde hair so you do the math. The toiletries they had the shampoo was half used and set back. I will upload pictures after my vacation and the toilet had black rings all inside it this room had not been cleaned at all. There was no toilet paper I checked out a day before my departure time due to not wanting my kids to stay here. Kids and people screaming so loudly and so late. I would not recommend my dog stay here they should have someone checking these rooms after they are supposedly cleaned. I have all pictures to prove all this after my vacation I do intend to take this up with my trip adviser. This was so horrible the smell of weed was all over the hotel and gentleman smoking out at the pool watching ladies swim I wasn’t able to swim due to this. It’s obvious this hotel does not care anything about their visitors or their cleanliness for that matter. This was just the worst worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The front desk lady with the gold teeth was the only thing out of that hole one day stay at that hotel she was the sweetest. There was three bags of trash, sitting at the top of the stairs the day we arrived. It was sitting there the next day, sticky stuff all over the stairs cockroaches in the bathroom. This hotel was so nasty. It should be shut down.

had a great stay at this hotel. The location was very convenient and easy to get around, quiet and safe. My room was spacious, comfortable, and well-kept, which made it easy to relax after a long day. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely stay here again.

The refrigerator needed defrosting, I wasn’t able to store my diabetic supplies. (My insulin) During my whole stay, housekeeping never cleaned my room. I needed an iron and ironing board and they gave me a filthy ironing board. Absolutely no breakfast at all. I called the hotel ahead of time to ask if there was a shuttle to the airport and she said she didn’t know. Taxi and Uber were not available according to the front desk staff. I will never return to this place. EVER!!!

Th facility was on the poor to minimal condition. I was fortunate to get a reservation with most or all facilities in the area being full due to the supply and demand due to the masters tournament…. But I would not recommend the hotel if you have any options

The Econolodge was a disappointment. The carpeting in the hallways were so stained. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the stench. The whole place really smelled bad. Then going into the room there was a chair in the corner with all the vinyl ripped off of the seat. It should have been at the dump, it was truly that bad. The shelving in the bathroom had chipped paint. There was not a smoke detector in the room. But there were wires hanging from where there was supposed to be one. Whoever owns that Econo Lodge should be ashamed of themselves. On a positive note… The staff were very friendly and helpful. Econo lodge… Do better

We checked in late on our first night there and overnight front desk didn’t seem well trained on system. We had a second floor room and they don’t have elevators at this property so had to carry luggage up stairs and room was presentable for price paid but room did have some small bugs
