We got to Waynesboro before Helene took power and I was thrilled to be able to do some laundry after two weeks on the road. Breakfast was really good too with hot choices.

The hotel is actually two hotels Quality Inn and Econo Lodge managed out of the same front desk. The Econo Lodge building is not as nice as Quality Inn. As soon as we walked into the Econo Lodge building it reeked of marijuana, I felt like I was walking into a stoner’s den. The building backs up to the bottom of a hill that someone could walk up to your room window undetected, I did not feel secure. On a positive note, the breakfast was good.

The young gal with glasses and chin length brown hair with slightly orange dyed hair and greenish glasses was very friendly and welcoming. She was also Kind and got us an extra pillow. Breakfast was hot and fresh. The dining area was clean.

The room was terribly worn, curtains were threadbare, sheets paper thin, double bed with only three pillows. AC didn’t work. Tub was old and stained, shower curtain didn’t cover with of tub, one small soap for hands and tub/shower. Toilet didn’t flush properly.

While the staff were very nice, the hotel and room were dirty. I believe i got bed bug bites from the bed as i have red swollen welts on my neck. The bed barely had any bedding. A thin sheet and a thin blanket. The bathroom wasn't clean. No thin thing of soap for the body. The tub had chip paint. The breakfast was subpar with watery eggs and make it yourself waffles. Many of the juices weren't working. For almost 200 bucks, I expected more. Never again and I would advise people to stay away. It's dirty and disgusting!!
