“AVOID THE HOTEL VERSION OF A SUPERMARKET SELF SERVICE TILL.
No staff AT ALL on site. You’re sent a code to get in. The room was horrid. Broken bed, rips in curtain. Leaking toilet, broken toilet seat and sink plug. Heavily stained carpet. I ARRIVED but if you needed to speak to someone, you had to ring a number. I was later getting there because of London traffic so I quickly changed to meet for a sound check. It is well located in the centre of Beverley, across the road from the stunning architecture of St. Mary’s Church and 10 minutes walk to the magnificent Minster. “For the money was ok. The room and bathroom were very clean, the bed comfy and the water hot. Four steps down to the bathroom, which seemed odd.
The pub itself is in desperate need of a re-vamp. Very tired. Also, the staircase to the room a bit grim Also noticed cigarette butts on floor outside that were there when we arrived and still there two days later.
Although would probably not stay again, I felt safe, and parking fine.”
