All in all it was a well kept room, perfectly suitable for our family, including our dog. The lady at the check-in was very polite and kind. The room was very clean, but did have a bit of musty odour, but we found you got used to it right away. The beds were very comfortable. For the price-point, we would stay again.

FYI, you are not getting a "chalet" you get a room in a row of rooms. The back yard view is not pleasant or maintained. Hot water is weird and takes a long time but the notice is posted everywhere abojt the state of the art water system. Very clean though and a fly zapper is a nice 🔫 touch.

Exactly what we needed for a simple overnight stay on our travels. Some tasteful upgrades, and some thoughtful touches that you can tell have been there for years with cute little signs (like earplugs for snoring partners, mini sewing kit). Even a crib board on the side table. Owner on site was lovely, I booked through Expedia which ended up being slightly more expensive but she only charged me the lower rate. We stayed with our dog so appreciated the open green space behind the motel, including what backed into crown land with paths we could walk. We were warned about moose & bears but didn’t see any, just lots of moose droppings. Beautiful, peaceful area to walk our dog. Would certainly recommend.
