The hotel is under construction and we were confused on finding our room and were wondering around in the building being refurbished before we went back to the front desk and found our room. But our correct room was great. Breakfast was wonderful. And it was quiet in the hotel and if we had had more time I would have liked to have used the swimming pool as we would have had it to ourselves!!

We enjoyed our stay at bantr Grand Hotel Wausau. The property and room were clean, and the staff was friendly. The pool and hot tub are really nice. The room was spacious and comfortable. The next morning we enjoyed a delicious complimentary continental breakfast. My only feedback to the hotel is it the outside of the property needs better lighting, it was really dark in the parking lot. Also inside, a lot of light bulbs needed replacing in stair wells and hallways. Did not take away from our stay at all, just needs a bit of attention. We would definitely stay again!

We went for a few days of skiing; slopes were within 10 minute and very accessible along with restaurants near the area. It appears there is newer ownership and there is one area where they are building a large water slide. Hot tub was great, enjoy the jets on back and feet.
