The check-in process was smooth and straightforward, which we appreciated. The property has a cozy feel, and we understand it's a family-run business, which often means limited on-site staffing. However, several aspects of our stay were disappointing. The room was not properly cleaned upon arrival, and there was no housekeeping service during our 3-day stay. We requested cleaning and trash removal after day two, but no one came.
As the temperature dropped in the evenings, we discovered that the central heating had been turned off. Despite requesting a space heater, none was provided, which made the nights uncomfortable. Another major concern was the lack of support—there was no staff on-site, the provided phone numbers were unreachable, and there was no reception desk to assist with even basic needs.
While we appreciate the charm and intention behind a family-run property, some basic services and a reliable way to reach someone for help would make a significant difference. We hope these issues can be addressed, as it has the potential to be a much more pleasant stay in the future.
