The inn is ran down and in need of updates. They also seem to have permanent tenants. There are kids toys and bikes around the back of the property. Works if you need a quick, cheap place for 1 night but don't expect much more.

I wish I could remember the guy at the desks name, but he was AWESOME! We rolled in at like 11pm, and he honestly made a massive difference. The room was clearly old, but really clean and comfortable. The halls smelled a bit, but the room was great and the lobby was clean.

The positive: we liked the location. The negatives: the room had a strongly bad odor when we arrived and never got better. The bathroom floor and toilet were dirty. There was only one bracket where there was supposed to be a towel rack. Needs a new shower head(was not really adjustable) and shower curtain. It looked like they were attempting to fix up the front entrance with gardening items, but it was junky looking.

Great service

We booked a king room and we're upgraded to two queens in a suite. It was a very nice room and the beds were comfortable. The service was great too, just wish they had breakfast. We'll certainly be back.

Good hotel in a nice town.

Overall a a decent hotel with a clean room and very friendly management and staff. Management took the time to speak with me and they are in the process of some upgrades. Good location in a nice town and I would stay there again.

Very friendly owner. Clean, but dated, very spacious hot tub room. Pet friendly. Quite a few MONTHLY residents. Only negative, the mattress was rock hard, good thing we had the hot tub to straighten out my back in the morning.

Great value in a great location

Though Watertown is smaller than Madison or Milwaukee, Heritage Inn still manages to be close enough to the Main Street for street noise to permeate the room. The bathroom is older but clean and effective. I picked it for its proximity to the other towns and this worked great for that.
