The room was cozy. The decking needs some work but overall the property was fine. Close 2-3 minutes of walking to food and the lake. Will return again!!

The room temp on arrival was 10 degrees. We cranked up the heat and kept our winter coats on for almost 2 hours before the temp rose to 15. We got an extra heater which helped. We were on the 2nd floor. It had snowed a lot the day before, and the stairways had not been cleared. The parking lot was partially cleared. The woman at the Kilmorey reception desk did her very best to help us out … gave us extra blankets as well. We saw no other staff .. except in the Kilmorey pub for supper … they were very good as well.

Second time staying. This room was nicer than the first one we stayed in. Clean, lots of room, the little “fire place” was nice. The only minor details, there’s no hooks for coats (we use the hangers to dry hiking clothes) or for towels in the bathroom, no mat or shoe tray (our boats were filthy from hiking in the rain), the pillows kind of suck.
