“Very good location and attentions”

“We stayed for one night at The Conifers guest house in a deluxe double room. We were welcomed at check in, which was very quick and efficient. The room was comfortable, quiet and airy (on a hot day), with tea and coffee available and a reasonable sized shower room. We had a good nights sleep in a large and comfortable bed. The next morning we had a good, buffet style breakfast which also included eggs freshly made and served by the friendly staff. We were able to park on the property. Spaces...

“The room we were given was not even remotely like the photos on the Hotels website. We stayed on the ground floor, the bed was terrible, the spring mattress was completely broken, we couldn't rest. In the bathroom the water from the shower came down in drops there was no power socket to attach any type of accessory. “The Abing Plough House is very quirky, but in a pleasant way. We stayed in Flat E which was really a self contained studio flat and part of a cottage on Watery Lane. It has a fridge, microwave and hotplate. I loved it as soon as we opened the front door! If you like items that don't match, maybe needing some tlc, the odd cobweb or three, then you'll love it!
