Everything was laid on and Helen was superb in anticipating everthing I needed. And the breakfast - well - no words to describe how great it was. Again the attention to the smallest detail was fantastic. Will certainly stay here again if I'm in the area. Well Done!”

“Shame we're not local or will visit Wendover again anytime soon, as we'd stay here again, no hesitation. Great location right in the middle of the town. Secure carpark. Lovely room, great size, neat, clean, can't fault it. Very helpful manager and staff. Breakfast choice was great. Bar and all grounds kept clean and tidy and the whole place had a lovely 'at home' feeling - shame we couldn't stay longer! Thanks for the hospitality - highly recommend.”

“We chose to stay here for the air conditioning and what we thought would be a lovely hotel. The hotel reception - on check in the staff were helpful, quick, efficient and communicative, it went downhill from there. The hallway to the bedrooms had dirty plates cups and glasses down there for the best part of the entire first day and evening! The breakfast, at £22 per person it was low quality food for a premium price! You’d be better going into Tring! Our shower, tiny piece of glass stopping...

“Room was really clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. It made such lovely change to have a cooked breakfast brought to you instead of luke warm self service. Bar prices very reasonable. Restaurant food was great and reasonable prices.”

“Location excellent. Grouting mouldy and bathroom smelt of mould. Check in and access to room was all on line which worked fine.”

“The staff were excellent and couldn’t have been more helpful. Sunday lunch was also excellent. On Sunday evening the hotel closes at 9pm and guests have only their rooms. I understand that the staff are tired on a Sunday, but with no available Wi fi which I believe will be rectified in the next month or so and no TV in the bedrooms it is a bit dismal. There are no other hotels/pubs or shops or places of interest to visit except the local church.”

“Muy bonitas instalaciones, cuarto funcional limpio y acondicionado para tener una estancia tranquila y cómoda. Cuenta con restaurante y estacionamiento lo cual es una gran ventaja. ”

“The hotel is not in Oxford, is actually 30 minutes drive from the actual city and just a few rooms have air conditioning. If you plan to come during summer, the rooms are quite hot.”
