Really enjoyed my stay. Great cabin, had everything i needed for my overnight stay. And my dinner at the Bar & Grill was excellent. Everyone was very friendly.
This hotel was very nice. The room was great. It was clean the bedding was comfortable. The temperature could be set to yor preference and actually worked. The kitchenette was clean and the dishes provided were plenty.
The only minor issue was the shower drainage. When showering, the water would spill out to the floor and require immediate drying.
The recently renovated motel was clean and comfortable. Kitchenette and ceiling fan were pluses. Loved the soft, comfortable bedding, and the old Bible by the bed was a nice touch. We walked over to the local bar for dinner. It was Indian taco night. Reasonably priced good meal.
Beautiful room and great amenities. Little kitchen is very convenient and there is a nice patio. I really appreciated having the larger fridge. Would definitely stay again!
Quaint community. Kitchenette with freezer is great. The local bar and grill is laid back, the owners sweet and personable. Relaxing.
Room is nice but walls do transfer noise from adjacent rooms. Beds are very comfortable. Will recommend.
This was a quiet little place. Close to the badlands. It was as advertised. Everything was clean and neat. Easy to get into and out of. Not much of a town but that's good for us. I do think the train operator was having fun with the tourist, alot of train horn for such a little place.
The Wagon Wheel was perfect for our overnight stop! Very clean, looked newly renovated and was very comfortable. Kitchenette was wonderful since there aren’t many food options. Very quiet and peaceful! Highly recommend.
This place is super cute! We loved the plywood construction and the decor. It really felt homey, with thoughtful curation of items in the room. It was super clean and nice. My only suggestion if the owners see this is a towel hook near the shower door.
We unfortunately only stayed overnight and departed the next morning. The motel room was extremely clean, and all appliances and furnishings appeared to be nearly brand-new. Check in was very simple. Beds were great. I wish we would have stayed at least one more night, as it appears to be a great jumping-off point to do all sorts of activities in the area. Highly recommended!
We were on a 2 week road trip and this was the best sleep I got the whole trip, much better than any of the chain hotels we stopped at. The room was cozy and cute and very clean, and I loved that it had a little kitchen. I drank my morning coffee on the little back porch and it was so peaceful. They even had pots full of petunias on the back porch! I would absolutely recommend it if you are passing through the area. We had been at Badlands all day and it was perfect.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service
The cabin was clean and I could tell it had been recently updated. It was nothing fancy but nice. The staff was not friendly. She was very upset that I came to the door. I was supposed to have seen my text. There is not great service in the national parks so I did not know I had a text. This is not a fault of the property but the area around it is run down and deserted.
Beautiful property, clean beyond my wildest imagination. I definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area absolutely loved it and wish we could’ve stayed longer.
