Lots of small restaurants within walking distance. However, maintenance of the property itself was neglectful. Lots of small things went wrong in our room that should ave been checked by staff prior to our arrival.

When I arrived there was a dime in the bathroom floor. It was there for my 5 night stay at the hotel. No sweeping, or cleaning. Making the bed and putting towels was all the cleaning done. Location is what I liked most about the hotel.

Great location. Nice lobby and bar area. Clean. Spacious room. Except for two of the doormen (both wore hats), the most unfriendly staff I’ve ever met. Waiter was so rude…wouldn’t even look at us, bellman was downright hostile. Front desk staff were not unfriendly, just seemed burned out. The feeling I get here are there alot of unhappy people working here. I’ve never encountered this before in my travels but it made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. It used to be one of my favorite DC hotels
