All was wonderful, except the last morning of our stay, the water in the shower was not hot. Otherwise, it was great, and we will stay again when we need lodging in Washington.

This Inn was very comfortable and exceptionally clean and well taken care of. The private club attached and open to all who stay at the Inn was really nice and served great pizza. Beds were very nice.Would definitely stay again!!

Lovely quiet property

Very nice property and except for an occasional train it was very quiet location. We have stayed at a couple other locations in Washington and the traffic noise was terrible, not so at this property. Great view of the Missouri River and close to all the activities on Front Street. A couple little amenities could be added but nothing that we couldn’t do without. Will definitely stay here again.

The rooms were self check in, which in my case was very convenient as we were running late for a concert at the fair. The room was quiet, clean, and really nice. Had one of the most comfortable beds in it. Private parking was a definite plus.

Would not recommend. You can hear every word people say in the rooms next to you. Bar is not impressive. They're also super rude if you request a late leave. No breakfast either. For the price its not worth it. Not compared to other places in the area.

The Elijah inn bar and food area was so cute for the holidays. Pizza was really good! Staff was amazing. We felt like we were in a Hallmark Movie. We had a great time there with a group for a wedding. So many places to drink, eat and shop around the Inn. The trains going by and the river view was a bonus!!!

Overall the stay was pretty excellent. The only odd portion was when my friend and I went to the on-site bar just for patrons. The bartender working that night didn’t really seem to know what to do with us even after we showed IDs. When my friend offered to pay the whole drink bill, the bartender’s tone made it seem like she didn’t think we could pay. The room itself was lovely.

Caution expedia reservations. We reserved a room on Expedia and found when we reached the property that it was a bathtub only room. The manager informed us that it was the 'room we reserved' and no other rooms were available. Rinsing hair in an oversized tub (with limited hot water) was a difficult task.

Lovely Date Night

We really enjoyed our date night stay! Exceptionally clean and quite comfortable. Real cream for the coffee was a nice perk. Lots of dining options nearby. We never received the email with our access code, but there was someone available to help. The only unpleasant aspect was the temperature. Even though it was cool outside, our room was quite warm. My husband thought there must have been heat running on the first floor, beneath us. Our theremostat would only go down to 68⁰ for cooling. Ive never experienced that before in a hotel.

A disappointment

This place was a little of a disappointment. No reception, and at arrival I found out the hotel had sent me an email with access code to our room on the same day at 2 p.m.!!! What if we had not had access to internet?Also, the code lock was not easy to figure out, and there was not explanation how to use it. There was supposed to be a bar in the other building where one can buy snacks, but there was absolutely nothing open! And no place to buy breakfast in the morning. (And it being Monday morning, no open breakfast places in town!) The room was very nicely decorated and clean, but there is almost no insulation between the rooms, so we could hear all talk and snoring from the room beside us! This place was a disappointment, overrated and overpriced.

Everything seemed ideal until it was time to sleep. The door window blinds did nothing to keep the outdoor light from iluminating in, we even layed a bath towel over the door and it hardly filtered the bright light. We blocked the door lock's red blinking light with a pair of socks. Not unusual is the tv and microwave lights we also blocked. What was the worst was the air conditioner. My husband's occupation is upscale home remodeling. He said the air conditioning situation was simply not done correctly. If you are not in a deep sleep, you will be jolted awake by the noise it makes. We did not sleep well. I thought the mattress was wonderful, but the pillows were not. We had a king room with four flat, hard pillows. I'm glad we brought one each just in case of this kind of situation. Because of the air conditioner's jolting noise I would not recommend this inn for the summer. If they take reviews to heart they may be able to fix this problem.
