“There were some lovely touches about the general accommodation such as pretty chandeliers, nice artwork and grand mirrors. We were in room 6 which was advertised as lacking natural light, this was fine, but the decor was so dark and such a dull lightbulb, it made the room feel so dingy. There was no plug point near the mirror, so doing hair was difficult. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable and there was a lovely big fan in the room to help combat the heat.

“Room was pet friendly, staff were great, decor in room a bit tired but not enough to putting us off staying again, Bathroom door could fit better. Food was very good.”

No repetiría. ”

“What a beautiful location! Lovely hotel in a perfect spot. The staff were all so freindly and helpful, especially the extremely polite dark haired gentleman at the bar when we arrived. He took the trouble to show me to the room and explained everything. The breakfast was also very good, great choice and lovely to sit with a view of the Abbey. Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend.”

“Room was very clean and staff were very helpful and understanding, I will definitely return if I ever get to be back to Hastings”

“Advertised restaurant on-site. They did not serve dinner. had to go out to eat.”

“Nice older-style hotel with helpful friendly staff. Room a bit small and overlooked by house opposite but other facilities very good. Relaxing lounge, very pleasant garden area, very nice restaurant serving excellent breakfast and convenient parking.”
