Good location, clean and well-run, traffic noise

Excellent central location near museums (Chopin, Copernicus), the river, and the metro. Facility was very clean and well-maintained; room was hotel quality, and staff were helpful. The main disadvantage was significant traffic noise from Tamka Street, including motorcycles late at night. 3rd floor walk-up with luggage could be a challenge for some guests.

The mattresses could be better and it was a little bit noisy from the hall outside the room. Otherwise everything was good.

Staff are super friendly and the communal areas are great! The dorm rooms are really poor quality and the beds are extremely creaky - so we were being woken every time someone turned around or arrived during the night!

Good hostel

It was almost perfect. Very nice helpful staff. Good kitchen, lounge, and toilet. Clean and neat hostel. I came back from a date night and found someone sleeping on my assigned bed. Staff moved me to a different room and bed. So it was okay. 20 min walk from the bus center but closer to Old Town

Greatly exceeded my expectations! 👍

I was specifically looking for the cheapest option for a room where I would have privacy, and on this particular day, that option was with Tatamka Hostel. My expectations were low, and I was very surprised with the quality in every category. Friendly staff, very nice room, (with 2 beds even though I only needed one) and a stress-free experience. I’ve already recommended it to a business associate, and would be happy to continue doing so.

Very good experience!

I really liked this hostel, i stayed 2 weeks. Dorms are ok (but bed are very very noisy) and in the 8-bed dorm the sunlight wont disturb you. The living room was perfect to me as i work remotely with many tables and sofa. High level breakfast for a hostel! I truly recommend this in Warsaw!
