“Booked this hotel as it looked really good online. Also have been looking for a hotel out of the city centre and close to the Vondel Park, for regular trips to Amsterdam. Broke three ribs prior to travel and so was unable to travel as was finding it difficult to walk. I realise a booked a non-refundable ticket, and requested a change of date. “We were very happy with the location and majority of amentities. We did not see a thermostat, which would have been helpful during the heat wave, but the temperature was bearable at whatever the standard setting was. The couch had stains on it which was in contrast of how pristine and beautiful the rest of the accommodation was. There was no hand soap or hand towels for washing hands throughout the unit which was odd. Beautiful, comfortable, lots of windows. My family and I had a wonderful...

“The room is situated in a very nice house on one of the amsterdam bridges. From architectural point of view is fantastic. However if you have a large suitcase forget to bring it to the room as you have a narrow spiral staircase to reach it. Concerning noise, you will have the live with the tram crossing the bridge ... that is quite loud and you will have light very early as the blinds are not blocking the sun. For us all those points were some how acceptable as the place is lovely....
